1 and 1/2 lbs. ground beef

2 Tbl. onion

1 and 1/2 Tbl. green pepper, chopped

1/3 cup bread crumbs

1/2 tsp. salt

1 egg

3 Tbl. catsup

1 and 1/2 tsp. horseradish

1/2 tsp dry mustard

1/3 cup milk

Mix all ingredients well. Form 3 loaves in 13x9 cake pan.

Pour barbecue sauce over the loaves. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

BARBECUE SAUCE:

2 and 1/2 cups catsup

1/3 tsp. chili powder

1/2 cup tarragon vinegar (or pickle juice)

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 clove garlic (or dash garlic powder)
