Late in the night, Jacob, sleeping alone at the Jabbok, is attacked by a mysterious man. They struggle until daylight, neither being able to overcome the other. At the conclusion, Jacob obtains a new name and a blessing.

Really reading Scripture is like that. Many Christians aren't comfortable with the idea that we must struggle with Scripture, but there is a blessing at the end.
